W7: Teams Weigh in for final time in S4 as OB City stretch their lead at the top!

Phenomenal showing on the Step Challenge puts Whites further ahead, while Crouch Potatoes catch up to set up interesting season finale!

"Cree get down the engravers mate" - Tom Gordon (OB City)

It's Weigh In Week, where the lads have a final chance for their weight loss scores to affect the league table. Aside from this the lads are currently logging food and counting calories for Weight Loss Coach James Brockbank in the weeks challenge, with points available for each lad who can show 5 days tracking over the week-long period!

The OB City goal difference is starting to look like a calorie tracking diary, as they took a 5th +10 victory of the season against Fatsumas in the early kick off. The positive thing for Fatsumas may now be a late challenge on the scales and the fact they won't face Macca Smith's White team again. With Captain Dan Wright away, James Brockbank has stepped up in more ways than one, getting himself onto this weeks challenge top 10 and scoring points for the Oranges.

The 8pm kick off had potential to be a close battle between Paul Truscott's Greens and Steve Turners Crouch Potatoes, this week led by club aficionado Martin Walker. Blink 1 Eto'o saw them off with a +9 win to take their 4th win of the season, and while they sit in 2nd place, it really is hard to see them catching OB City at this point, with two weeks to go.

With 149 league points the White team have smashed it on and off the scales, with and incredible 84 points coming from challenges alone, and this week was no different with Kia Johnson shining above the rest and putting in a phenomenal 50,000+ step day to take top place! Macca Smith, Tom Gordon, Ste Foster and Tony Stonehouse wrapped up the top 10 places for the whites.

Crouch Potatoes really stepped it up too, with Ben Rooney, James Huzzard, and Jordan Harris stepping up for the Black team, while EVERYBODY on the team got involved, so well done lads! Special note also for Adam Beadnall who earned the Greens their point from the top 10!

So, scales to add once the week is over, and just one more challenge after the Food Tracking Challenge until the end of the season. The battle in the league looks to be between 2nd-4th. Thanks to the revival of Crouch Potatoes they've now pulled the gap to 2nd back to just 8 points, which with the amount of points on offer on the scales, is by no means unreasonable to attain. Greens and Oranges will look to end the season on a high also!

Next week it's a familiar return to 8pm Kick Offs for OB City, who'll take on Blink 1 Eto'o in a game which you'd imagine should secure their title (I'm not confirming anything yet lads!), as Fatsumas meet Crouch Potatoes in the early kick off, where a win for Crouch Potatoes could lift them off the bottom of the table for the first time since Week 1!
